FAQs

WHAT ARE YOUR PRICES?
Admission to see ALL FEATURES is only $10 per person! Children UNDER 12 are always FREE! Tickets are only sold at the box office for that evening's presentation.  We do not sell advance tickets.  For food prices please take a look at our menu.

DO YOU ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS?
We accept VISA and MasterCard, however cash is much faster and helps speed up our lines.

WE'RE COMING WITH A GROUP. CAN WE PARK TOGETHER?
If you're coming in a group, we recommend carpooling. We park vehicles according to height; smaller cars in front, and the tallest must park in the back of the theater. Patrons must park in their assigned sections.

HOW DO YOU HEAR THE SOUND?
We broadcast the sound on an FM radio station.  You must have a working FM stereo in your car or a battery powered radio in order to hear the sound. Radio apps do not work because we do not stream our sound through the internet.

WHAT IF MY CAR BATTERY DIES?
In the event your battery does not hold out, please ask for help in the snack bar. We can jump start your car. Please note it is a courtesy service we offer and we are not able to jump vehicles during intermissions or during the final film. We will be out after the last feature to jump vehicles and try to get you going again.

Should you require a tow truck, please notify staff before calling the tow truck company. We do not allow tow trucks on the property until all the movies are complete.

DO YOU OFFER GROUP DISCOUNTS OR PARTIES?
We must park vehicles according to height, so that everyone can see. This does not accommodate groups or parties well as vehicles may not all be of similar height. Our prices are already low, therefore we do not offer any discounts for large groups.

ARE DOGS ALLOWED?
Yes! Dogs are allowed; HOWEVER, YOU MUST KEEP THEM ON A LEASH when they are out of your vehicle and YOU MUST PICK UP AFTER YOUR DOG. Extra bags are available in our snackbar.

DO YOU HAVE ANY SPECIALS OR DEALS?
EVERY MONDAY-THURSDAY we offer a pizza special. We give you two 16 oz sodas with the purchase of a pizza!

CAN I BRING MY LAWN CHAIRS?
Yes, but PLEASE KEEP THE LAWN CHAIRS IN YOUR TRUCK BED and NOT BETWEEN THE SPEAKER POSTS OR IN THE AISLES. WHY? Cars cannot see the lawn chairs, and they often drive between speaker posts with their lights off.

DO YOU HAVE ANY SOUVENIRS OR GIFTS FOR SALE?
YES! We have miniature speaker box key chains, t-shirts, and other items available! Visit our snack bar to see them in person! Take home a piece of Americana and re-live the nostalgia of drive-in theaters!

WHY DON'T YOU SHOW THE FAMILY MOVIES FIRST?
Film companies demand newer films play first, so there are some weeks that a family movie may play as the second feature.

WHEN DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE PLAYING?
We negotiate with the film studios every week. Usually, we do not know what films we will play until five days before we open with a new movie. Please check back or visit our Facebook timeline every Thursday night for movie updates.

MAY WE BRING OUR FOOD?
We ask that you do not bring in outside food and drink. The theater gets very little profit from ticket sales, so the snack bar food sales are very important! Our profits from sales allow us to employ people, pay wages, taxes, equipment fees, and maintenance. If people do not purchase food from the snack bar, the theater CANNOT STAY IN BUSINESS. Please, visit our snack bar, buy some goodies, and help us stay in business; after all, we're CHEAPER than the indoor theaters, and we're not owned by some big corporation!

WILL I ALWAYS SEE MULTIPLE MOVIES FOR LESS THAN THE PRICE OF 1?
YES! We will always provide at least 2 current Hollywood hits for the price of $10 PER PERSON
(CHILDREN UNDER 12 ARE FREE!).

HOW FAR IS IT FROM THE PROJECTOR TO THE SCREEN?
The 88 Drive-in Theatre's projector is 540 feet away from the screen! That's a powerful projection lamp!

WITH PRICES GOING UP ON EVERYTHING, HOW CAN YOU KEEP YOUR TICKET PRICES SO LOW?
We have fought Hollywood's demand for higher ticket prices, and SO FAR, we are winning! HOW? YOU! Our customers—THAT'S HOW! As long as you keep coming to the 88 Drive-in Theatre, the movie companies will allow us to KEEP LOW TICKET PRICES!
